Plays

“Luck Be A Lady,” (2015). I wrote and performed a monologue as part of HIV Voices, a writing and performance project that aims to stage a multiplicity of voices from those living with and affected by HIV. This monologue was also performed by Samantha Dakin.

Project Derby, (2015). I was part of Turn Left, a company working on a devised theatre piece about roller derby. I performed in the work’s first showing at the Queer Show and Tell Festival at the Hackney Showroom in September, 2015. This project is continues as Skate Hard, Turn Left. More here.

Breaking The Silence (2015) by Di Trevis and Decca Muldowney. This play was commissioned for workshop by the Royal Shakespeare Company. I worked with the archive of Israeli human rights group Breaking The Silence, which collects the testimonies of Israeli soldiers who have witnessed or committed human rights violations while serving in the Occupied Territories. It was workshopped by Peter Clements, Jono Bergmann, Jude Monk McGowan, Matthew Mellalieu, David Mumeni, and Beatriz Romilly, with movement by Jane Gibson.

Our Sign Is The Stone (2013). A play based on oral testimonies collected in Nabi Saleh, West Bank. Performed by the Playback Troupe of The Freedom Theatre, Jenin, and toured the West Bank. Coverage of the play here and here.

Remembering September (2009). Performed at a rehearsed reading at the Miscellaneous Theatre Festival, Judith E. Wilson Studio, Cambridge, 2009. Read by Lucinda Millward and Graham O’Mara, and directed by Zoe Lafferty.
