Previously she was a reporter at The Daily Beast, an investigative researcher at Reveal, From The Center For Investigative Reporting, a reporter at The Real Deal, and research fellow at ProPublica.
Prior to that she studied and taught Palestinian literature at the University of Cambridge.
Originally from London, she now lives in Oakland, California.
